Founded in 2012, INDEX FEST was designed to reinvigorate the music scene and vibe in Dallas’ historic Deep Ellum district. This three-day music festival with a tremendous array of national, regional and local talent puts the spotlight on what’s next in indie music and showcases fan favorites. While America is moving to the coasts for marathon music festivals, INDEX FEST creates an open invitation for indie music lovers to enjoy a new view of Dallas’ culture, nightlife and overall vibe. Now in its third year, INDEX aims to showcase the best of what’s next in indie music (indie next = ind ex) as well as highlight (index) the artists that dominate the personal catalogues of festival staff members. In short, this event is about what music we are currently digging and those artists we have always loved. With a total of 3 outdoor stages and 6 participation venues including Club Dada, Prophet Ballroom, Prophet Bar, Three Links, Trees and Sons of Hermann Hall, Index Fest aims to once again transform Deep Ellum with 3 days of music and culture in one of the most endeared neighborhoods in Dallas. There will be food trucks, beer gardens, craft vendors and several featured restaurants participating in ways that provide the event with additional vibrancy and texture.
